Installation

Eoyc can be installed in several ways, depending on your preference and environment.

From Homebrew

For macOS users, Eoyc is available via Homebrew:

brew tap hahwul/eoyc
brew install eoyc

To build Eoyc from source, you'll need to have Crystal installed (version 1.7.3 or higher).

git clone https://github.com/hahwul/eoyc
cd eoyc

shards install
shards build

The compiled binary will be located at bin/eoyc.

./bin/eoyc -h

After installation, verify that eoyc is working correctly:

eoyc --version
# Output: 0.2.0

echo "test" | eoyc -e "base64"
# Output: dGVzdA==
